Study on performance of the compound filter with electrostatic spray and wet metal filler

Based on the study of the spraying charge agglomeration mechanism and the wet metal fill filtration mechanism, develops the high efficient electro-spray wet metal filler compound filter. Presents the experiment devices of the compound filter system. Performs the experiment on four different filtering modes of dry metal filler, wet metal filler, high pressure spray and electrostatic spray. The test results show that the compound filtration system has the largest filtration efficiency under the condition with air velocity 1.2 m/s, sprinkling rate 1.0 m3/h, spray volume 60 L/h, charged voltage 10 kV, and distance between electrode ring and nozzle 20 mm.
